Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to mark the centennial of the company. Made of Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying "B" paperweight, a set of keys and a brochure that features never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

It is the perfect gift to introduce a new owner to their lavish vehicle.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a brand that takes its aesthetics very seriously.  bentley key fob  is evident in the precise placement of its quilting and the use of leather made from cattle by-products and sustainable managed forests, and the unique patterns of its levers. As you approach a car like the Continental GT W12, its stunning design is accentuated by carefully curated lighting.

The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top Bentley ever created. Its rear tonneau, for instance, featured the largest piece of dark-stained, book-matched Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to a production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

bentley key  is the most sought-after automobile brand globally due to its distinctive design and quality. The company is constantly pushing the boundaries with the latest technology and hand-crafted products. This includes the introduction of an electronic tilt-opening rear window sunroof and a crafted Apple iPad docking station.

Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019 100 years after the marque was established. The marque, which is owned by Volkswagen independently following years of dispute with BMW and BMW, had planned a variety of special launches and events to celebrate this milestone. The marque planned a variety of special occasions and launches to mark the milestone event before the planning of a pandemic became a priority.

Design

Bentley is known for its extravagant and lavish automobiles and keys, but even keys are made to stand out. The Bentayga Key is made of sterling silver and features a large B' logo to inform everyone that you drive a Bentley. The key is also inscribed with the dates 1919 and 2019 to mark the company’s centenary.

The Mulsanne was revamped and redesigned by Bentley Mulliner to be the ultimate Grand Touring car. It features two opposing sets of rear seats that were modelled on luxury private aircraft, providing passengers with unparalleled comfort and privacy. The custom heating and ventilation system as well as the air conditioning system was designed to provide each passenger with the ideal climate control settings.

The Mulsanne comes with twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine with 560bhp as well as 479lb-ft torque. This powerhouse is complemented by a revolutionary suspension architecture that delivers Bentley's hushed, quiet ride.

Bentley has released a special specification for cars built after 2019 to commemorate its centenary. It is known as the Centenary Specification. This includes contrast stitching and cross-stitching in Centenary Gold thread throughout the cabin. The Bentley Wings on the headrests and seats are embossed in Centenary Gold, adding to the sense of celebration. The Centenary Specification also includes a personalized Bentley keycase, adding to the Bentley experience.

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne Key features two buttons that open the trunk, and the second that turns on the vehicle. It also has a switch that can turn on the parking break. There is a knob to fold and unfold the mirrors when parking in tight spots. This feature helps you get in and out of your car.

Each key takes two days to make. It is cut by hand to shape, sewn sealed and polished to give an extremely high-end finish. It is small and sturdy and will fit the Bentley key perfectly. Its style is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key, but it feels much heavier and has a more luxurious feel.

Secure-A-Key is also included to help prevent keyless entry theft. This device is put into the remote-control fob and then shuts it off if the key is not used for more than a few minutes. It stops thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices which can be used to open and start the vehicle.

Bentley's distinctive design reflects the company's values of exquisite craftsmanship and engineering expertise. It also includes cutting-edge technology. Its headquarters in Crewe are home to over four hundred employees who are responsible for the design, development, and production of Bentley vehicles. These workers apply skills that have been handed over generations and then apply them to the latest in technology in the automotive industry. This is British manufacturing at its best.

Personalisation

Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to essentially design their own car. Customers sit at a set of images called "mood stations" and pick a collection of images ranging from scenic views to sporting events that inspire them. Every time a choice is made the pattern that emerges shows the model colors, style and color preferences for the bespoke Bentley.

The guests receive a key case made by hand that contains the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. The keys can be fitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps that illuminate the pathway of the door opening with the owner's name or logo as they approach the vehicle.

Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man-hours to build and build a Mulsanne. The unwillingness to embrace modern technology is the primary factor to this lengthy and laborious process. Instead of using a machine to place the perfectly matched cross-stitched leather seats, workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. Drivers are required to park their vehicles manually, not using sensors built-in to direct them to perpendicular and parallel spaces.

During the event, Bentley showcased its Mulliner personalization capabilities using one particular example - the Mulsanne W.O. The Mulsanne W.O.  bentley key programming  pays homage to the man who founded the company, William Osler Bentley. The 100 limited edition cars come with the key, which displays an original 1930 8 Litre crankshaft.
